You are allowed to drive with all permits issued in countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway).
In addition, the following driving licences are also valid for driving in Spain under certain conditions:
• National permits from countries that signed the Geneva Convention or the Vienna Convention, or that differ from said models only in non-essential details.
• National permits from other countries that are written in Spanish or accompanied by an official translation.
• International permits issued abroad under the Geneva Convention or the Paris International Convention.
• Permits recognised under particular international agreements to which Spain is a party.
Countries with a Convention agreement with Spain: Algeria, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Macedonia, Morocco, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to know whether an International Driving Permit is required. If needed, it must be sent to bookings@offugo.es with reference to the booking number.
